Today i worked on messing around with different filters on photoshop, i took a piture of four apples in a row and put different filters on all of them,Chrome,charchole and water. the result is the image above.

Today i worked on a few photoshop tutorials,i started work on chromeing images,to do this i got a picture of achrome ball and a picture of an apple, i need to carefully cut peicd of the chrome ball and layer them onto the apple,and then wrap and warp them aroud it.

Describing the visual qualities of my postcard

Style: the postcards style is a expressionistic collage, the expressionism comes from the expression on my face, it looks like a very evil sort of laugh.

Spatial Qualities: it  has a bit of space in between the images, it has a back ground middle ground and a foreground the focal point is on me laughing.

Composition: the composition is off centre, none of the images are directly in the centre it is very asymmetrical and dynamic.

Colour: there are two main very bright images in this postcard, both are in the foreground, in the back ground however there is a washed out black and white image.

Tone: the tone in the background is dark and sombre, when you move into the forground it become very colourful and bright.

Pattern: There is a pattern in the image of me, it is like I was moving forward very fast and leaving a trail behind me.

Today i messed around with people eyes again,i made the globe fit in someones eye and replace their eyeball, i have started to attempt to implant a zipper opening up into somthing on someones face.

Today i started work on and disfuguration image, i took a phot of an eye and put a speaker where the eye ball should be, i am haveing a little trouble feathering the speaker so that it fits in tho the background image, i also plan to put little wires going into the eye from the speaker.

Video art-Tony Oursler

Video art is a video of whatever the artist wants, that has been edited to the way that the artist wants people  to perceive it as.Tony Oursler is trying to catch people attention with something so weird and strange that they will not want to leave it.
i liked the metiorite peice that was on display out side the museum, i like that the peice was interacting with its audience and drawing them in.

Today I chose some pictures that I am going to use for my postcard, I have chosen pictures that mean something to me, they are all going to be arranged together in a picture of a empty room,

Most of the pictures are music related.

The pictures I have chosen are of things like a guitarist on stage, this one is black and white, I have also chosen a picture that someone took of me that really shows my personality and who I am, and there is also a cut photo out of a movie “UP” that I can relate to.

Today I included a picture of a drum kit into my photo, I have also made to photo of me sort of fade back into lots of smaller images of the same thing, for this I just resized the same photo down a step each time and layered them behind each other.

I also water marked the picture of the guitarist over the top of everything apart from the house floating away by balloons (image from “UP”).
